Corunna - January 16, 1809
The battle of Corunna was an attempt by the British to extricate themselves from
Northern Portugal before the pursuing forces of Soult could catch them. This scenario
starts at 12PM and lasts until 7 PM at which time all of the British troops safely make it
onto the ships.
Historically the cavalry were severely hampered by the icy rocky conditions so to
simulate this movement on mountains is at S2 for infantry and S3 for cavalry and
artillery. All other ground is S1 for infantry and S2 for cavalry and artillery
Spotting is always at low terrain on mountains, linear terrain everywhere else.
