Although the POW rules are primarily for the 19th Century, early 20th battles can be fought. The WW I campaigns where the battles were still free moving can be fought particularly the eastern front, middle east and African fronts. To get things rolling Roy Harrison [hrhcm@hotmail.com] has sent me the start of an Eastern Campaign. The campaign is the Brusilov offensive. The initial instalment is a points system. I have now purchased Russian Civil War figures and looking for to trying them out in the new year. Now what's the moral factor for a Cavalry charging an armoured train.... Below is a Red Army recruiting Poster from 1920, something I dug up on my last Moscow trip.
